Stealing Rose - Monica Murphy

Rose Fowler and Caden Kingsley meet on a night when Rose is wearing The Poppy Necklace with pink and white diamonds.  Caden, as a thief, wants that necklace.  Rose is feeling daring in her shocking dress and dramatic neckwear.

Caden and Rose meet up again through friends in London.  Caden has tried to forget her and concentrate on stealing the necklace.  It's what he does, well usually.  Rose makes him different.  Makes him hot.  Makes him want.  Want more from life.  Want to be a better man.

Rose cannot believe he walked away from her in Cannes, not while she stood naked in front of him.  Seeing him again makes her unsure.  Should she try to seduce him again?  When he meets up with her in the ladies room and locks the door - their fate is sealed.

Normally Rose is the quiet one. Her sisters are more daring.  More of everything.  With Caden she feels she can finally be herself and confide in someone about her real feelings.  Caden is trying to get away from his old friends and their rich party ways.  He no longer wants to drink, do drugs, or steal jewelry.

Caden feels a lot of pressure to take care of his mom.  He only steals since she cannot do for herself and he never found how to work for someone else.  Now, Rose makes him yearn for more than the life he has come to know.

The sparks fly and the book literally sizzles!!  The heat between Caden and Rose jumps right off the pages!!  Their story is so bittersweet about a young couple just trying to get by.  I enjoyed this book and now want to read the rest of the series.  For those of you who do not know yet - this is Book Two in The Fowler Sisters series.  I give it a happy 5/5 Kitty's Paws UP!
