Lane is Yasmin's brother's best friend. After a sudden change in plans, he is also taking over what she thought would be her project when she came home. Her parents still do not know the secrets she needs to share. Then they throw her this?
Yasmin is not the little girl he once knew. She transfixes him. How will they work together on renovations, when all he can think is about touching her? Can they bridge the gap that feels so wide?
I really did not like this book at first. I put it aside for a while and came back to finish what I had started. I am still not pleased with many parts of the book, but that is on me - not the author. We do not all agree. I can say that there is plenty inside this book to move you, in all directions. I give this story a 2/5 Kitty's Paws UP!
