The book begins with Cassidy going to a concert with her best friend after she gets VIP tickets. Once there, she and best friend Teagan, fight and Cassidy is left there to fend for herself.
Cassidy ends up drinking quite a bit. Making new friends with Jared and Vera. Gage, who was singing up an stage while she was fighting with Teagan, ends up drinking with Cassidy at her table. They make eye contact, start talking and that is all it takes. She is so into Gage and he is so into her.
They spend every day and night together after that. Cassidy makes some major life changes after her parents kick her out. She ends up with a job, thanks to Jared. A place to live, thanks to Vera. A boyfriend who rocks her world without any personal struggles, thanks to Gage.
Gage, however, has a few family secrets he does not share. When Cassidy finally gets the strength to ask him about it he summarizes what went on with his ex-girlfriend Zoey (whom they both work with) and tells Cassidy very little. She, in turn is also afraid to share, To get too personal.
Real life. Real relationship under the guise of light and impersonal. Real job. Real problems. Great story with a bang of a beginning! Very hot book!!
