This book starts out so fast paced with how Cree and John meet and have to take out bad guys. WOW - just a good pace for the book right from the start!
John is the Director of the Department of Covert Ops, and tries to recruit Cree - who is a shape shifter who can turn into a Fox. Turns out - she has been watching over him and they are both in danger.
The chemistry and banter is off the charts! It is very easy to read and not put this book down. Cree is a fun character and all of her sides are interesting to see and how she adapts to be with John is just cool.
John, in return is very much smitten with Cree - before even meeting her and he has to decide can they work together and get this solved without harming Cree or her shape shifter friends?
This story is a prequel into the series where there are currently 2 more books to read and a 3rd is coming out in May 2015. The characters all interesting with their own back stories of trust and pain. The author is clever to connect them all and it is a really good read, If you like series books, this is a new one to try out and hopefully more books are to come.
