The characters in this story just make you feel! I loved Brant & Emma's story since they just gave it to one another - and I mean as honest as you can!
Emma is his personal assistant and they do not get along. Emma would rather tell him how stupid he is than admit she finds him sexy! Brant finds her just infuriating!! She riles him up and gets him hot under the collar and well... other places too.
This is book #5 in the Danvers Series and it is still going strong. The beloved characters from the earlier books are all here too. The laughter and tears in this book are so touching. I feel for Emma and I feel for Brant too!
Brant tries so hard not to notice her and keep himself busy and even sometimes away from her out of the office. When she asks him a favor and sort of blackmails him into it - I nearly cried from how funny it was. I enjoyed the simple joys and feels of this book. I could easily read it again. A total keeper for my shelf!!
When her family loves him after just one meeting Emma almost goes nuts. It is such a joy to see her work for it. Then when she falls for him - well - maybe I should not spoil that either.
The next book in the series should be out in early February 2015 and I can hardly wait!!
