This story, which is Hornet series book # 3, has us following Travis and Mara. What was supposed to start out as just a one night stand - rolled over to a week. Then the next time Travis came a calling there were surprises all around!
First of all, they did not know their lives were in danger or that those closest to them would be plotting their deaths. Former teammates, those sworn to protect and defend us were after Mara and in the long run want Travis dead and out of their way.
Next, we have a surprise baby situation that has most family members up in arms. Mara's cousin (also Travis' teammate) is so fired up that he even touched a member of his family, let alone got her knocked up. Mara's step-dad is ruler over her mother and has disowned her due to the pregnancy.
Finally, they end up kidnapped in a foreign country that cannot know of their presence for fear it is an International Incident. Through it all, and to make matters worse, Travis doubts he can be a good father since his was a piss poor imitation of a real one. He and Mara are constantly fighting about whether he should even be allowed to be in her life or the baby's.
It takes the good and current members of his team, Mara herself, and some wonderful friends to show Travis Quinn what family really is and that he already has one. Such an amazing story and full of action, hard bodies, sparks a plenty, and much more!! I give it a whopping 4/5 Kitty's Paws UP!!
