When she is hired to write an article on him to "fix" his image - the sparks start flying around the room! She knows there is something he is holding back. Hayden knows he needs her help to repair his image. He also knows he cannot ever tell her the truth. He is aware she is his Luminary - he will crave her always. The city right now is much too dangerous for her to be involved with him and to keep her alive, he will push her away.
When they are in the same room, however, the heat builds until it is combustible! Can they spend time together and not explode? Hayden literally aches to be with her, to hold her, kiss her. Melina is not sure of much except she is sure of her feelings for this man.
These characters are so strong in physical, personality and emotional ways. I found their banter to be fun. The attraction makes for a pretty hot read. They are a fun couple! This book is good as a standalone, but the series the San Francisco Wolf Pack is just beginning - this is book # 1! I cannot wait for the rest!! I give this book a 4/5 Kitty's Paws UP! rating.
