The story of Kari Martin moving to Maine from NYC continues in this book. We see how much fun the move is, who her roommates will be and her brother who helps her move.
Right from the start she is attracted to Jake, the hometown hero. She meets him her first night in town at the supermarket. He helps her choose wine for dinner.
Jake used to live in Texas. He was hurt in the past by a woman he had loved his whole life. He is completely attracted to Kari - but afraid to try. He knows he could get close to Kari, he already feels something for her.
They keep "bumping into one another" all over town. It is a small town, and their paths seem to cross a lot. She has to interview him as part of her first assignment for her new job.
They both have to decide if they are willing to take a chance on each other. Solid story and I give it a 5/5 Kitty's Paws UP! I liked the characters and how the story is paced. This is the 2nd part in a 3 part serial.
