Between Everything And Us (Sutton College Book 1) - Rebecca Paula

Beau and Matisse meet because they end up roommates in the same house.  Instantly attracted to one another, they try to avoid each other.  There is even a house rule, that no drama can happen including dating among roommates.

Beau and Mati become friends and hang out anyway.  They have real feelings and genuinely like each other.  Beau has many secrets that he hides, and is not sure he should tell her.  There is so much she does not know.

Mati is trying to be good at everything.  She is the only child of older parents.  They expect perfection and she usually performs like a good little soldier.  Now, after moving all the way across country to Portland, OR from Maine, she feels like there is breathing room.  Maybe just a little anyway.

One night Mati gets very sick and Beau comes to rescue her.  He stays with her in the hospital and takes care of her when they get home.  Then he ends up with the illness also.  They tend to one another since the house is empty for break.

From this a serious closeness and friendship blooms.  The friends they were are stronger and closer.  They even share a kiss.  I found this book to be amazing and hard to put down!  I loved the character development and the surprises in store for the reader!  I give this book a 5/5 Kitty's Paws UP!
