Parker Black and Lexi Dare have more than her fiance in common. Except he is abusive and she is trying to get away from him. They both have a love of computers and all things "hacker" in common too.
Parker has been attracted to Lexi for some time. If she had not been engaged to his friend, he would have already asked her out. After seeing him be rough and abusive, he wants nothing to do with his friend and to only take care of Lexi.
Lexi and Parker have both been hurt in the past. Neither is sure they want to have a relationship where pain can be a factor. Lexi has trouble trusting after what she has been through. Parker has many secrets and is worried about bringing her into "his world".
When Parker is hired as his hacking alter ego to protect Lexi's at an auction the truth comes out. Hard to face truths come out with it. Can each forgive the other as they reach out and try to trust again?
Lots of explosive action and steamy scenes make this another Titan best. This is book # 6 in the series, and the author shows no sign of slowing down. I enjoyed the characters interaction and the story keeps you seriously on your toes! I give this book a wow factor 5/5 Kitty's Paws UP!
